Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest
Directed by Gore Verbinski
A Walt Disney Pictures Release

Captin Jack is abck and this time he's in bigger trouble. Jack ownes his soul to davy Jones and the Flying Dutchman.  To get out he must find 100 souls.  Will and Elizabeth join up but not to help jack, but themselves from death.  Johnny Depp, Orlando Bloom, and Keria Knightly return in the sequel to 2003's Pireates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearle.  Once again the entire cast is outstanding and Depp is wonderful.  The film is creepier, darker, and funnier than the first and will leave you wanting more ( which you'll be getting in a year or two!) The direction by Gore Verbinski is great as is the screenplay.  The music by Hans Zimmer is even more gripping and blood clenching.  If you loved the first Pirates film, this one is going to make you even more giddy.  I won't take long with this reveiw becasue you should be wacthing it right now. The special effects get better and so does the evrything.  The film is almost 3 hours and ends like a two part TV movie but that makes it so damn good!  I give Walt Disney's Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest an A++++++++++++++++++... Go see this kick ass film now!

The Devil Wears Prada (2006)
Directed by David Frankel
A 20th Century Fox Release

If you think your boss is the absolute bitch, go see The Devil Wears Prada and I think you'll change your mind.  A new college grad scores a job at Runway Magazine as a secretary.  But she doesn't know what she's getting into.  Her boss, Miranda, is the cruelest person alive and she'll stop at nothing.  The Devil stars Meryl Streep (The Hours, Prime) as the bitch Miranda Precley, Anne Hathaway (The Princess Diaries 1 & 2), and Stanley Tucci (Lucky Number Slevin) as Nigel.  The cast is great.  Anne breaks from kid films and into more mature films perfectly and she surley will have a great future in film.  Stanley Tucci is funny as hell and is a bonus to the film.  And of course Streep.  She gives her best perfromance in years and plays the perfect bitch.  Her looks are stunning and her her attidue is...devil like.  Another mentionable cast member is Emily Blunt who play Emily, Mirnada's assistant.  She perfects the ass kisser touch and the jealous type too.  The entire cast is rivieting and works well.  The direction by Frankel is also great. It's not outstanding but it still is another reason the movie works so well.  The script is good and is a great adaptation of the novel by Lauren Weisburger, on which this film is based.  This is a touching comedy that will have you think about how you treat others well keeping you laughing.  A perfect date movie and no, its just not a chick flick.  I give The Devil Wears Prada an A.
